Seahorse

Seahorse flies free
He knows not his destiny
He is as free as the breeze

Every place is his home
This moment, then that
With each blade of sea grass he is at

He knows he is not alone
He roams in company
The fleeting tide that pushes him endlessly

In stillness he meets his bride
Steadily, for a while, the sea calms in their company
Until again he flies

Does not question why
Full of babies
Full of new ideas

Each one in time flung free
To float and roam, and find who he be
Part swimming, part taken by the sea

Seahorse flies free
He knows not his destiny
He is as free as the breeze
